On receipt of a referral, our Young Carer Support Worker arranges a visit with the Young Carer and their family in their home environment to assess the situation.
The offer is then made to Parents to join our database, which is protected, and to enable them to access our services.
Referrals come from many sources, Social Services, School Mentors, Health Advisors and even self referrals.
The Young Carer is put on our database, with the parents consent.
We do our best to offer help and support to both Parents and Young Carers with any problems they may have.
We do liaise with other Agencies if we cannot solve the issue ourselves.
